Setting outlandish intentions or life stretching goals is an activity avoided by most people for a simple reason: Goals, Intentions, 90 Day Action Plans, all seem to be presenting the individual with a problem that needs solving, and life just doesn't need any more problems.

Some of us avoid solving relational problems because, its a problem and problems need to be avoided.
Some of us fail to stretch to our potential because stretching causes discomfort and pain and well that's a problem, and problems need to be avoided.
Some of us avoid building new positive relationships because new stuff causes fear and fear is a problem and problems need to be avoided.

NEWS FLASH: Successful people see problems as an opportunity to shine, an opportunity to monetize a great new idea, an opportunity to posture oneself as a source of ingenuity. 

Problems aren't a problem they are an opportunity to monetize a solution and thereby introduce a new revenue stream!

So we have to decide whether we are avoiders or embracers?
Are we frozen with indecision or are we energized with ingenuity?
Are we settling for the safest low return on life or chasing the best chance we have to re-invent the world's perception of our amazingness?

It's a choice.  Leaders choose. What will you do?

The Power of Mentoring

Russel Crowe plays the natural father of Superman in the latest offering in the movies today. He told the story of his unknown influence on the life of the star of the movie, Henry Cavill. More than 13 years previous to filming this movie Russel was filming Proof of Life in England. In one scene he was saying goodbye to his son who was attending a private boarding school.  In the background to the scene there was a small group of young men playing soccer. One young man stood out as more invested in the scene as an extra and after the filming was completed he asked Russel some simple questions about the life of the career actor. Russel took a few brief moments and answered him frankly. It was just a moment in time but one that was well spent on the young man.

After the film was completed Russel was sending off a thank you package to the young man who played his son and in doing so remembered the young man who had asked the few questions. He also sent him some thank you gifts and a short note of encouragement  And with that Russel forgot the exchange all together. 

Fast forward to 3 months working his excess weight off in a gym and Russel sees a full grown man working equally hard to sculpt his body into that of the man of steel. He looked familiar but the name didn't ring a bell and obviously the intervening 13 years had radically changed the appearance of Henry Cavill. It wasn't until they were finished their conditioning and were to begin acting that Henry broached the subject and ask Russel if he had remembered giving some frank advice to an aspiring young actor. He did remember and was surprised to see the impact of a kind word and a thoughtful gesture.

In the Evolved Economy a kind word and thoughtful gesture are the main fuel of influence in shaping aspiring leaders into being exceptional leaders. You are shaping your future revenue as you are shaping these lives as well.  

Are there two leaders in your business that you are offering kind words and thoughtful gestures?

Take time this week to choose two leaders who you will re-invent their perception of success. And begin making your own super man or woman for your business.

Life is short and full of opportunities or troubles, it all depends on your perspective. People who have audacious intentions leading their way see life full of opportunities and the troubles are challenges with an opportunity to follow.

If your intentions are nothing but puny bunts life will always appear too much. If your intentions stretch your imagination, faith and inner possibilities life becomes a breeze.

Are you swinging for the fence?

Put something outrageous on your vision board today.
Set an outstanding intention and then tell two people who love you.

Just like integrity, momentum is not a touchy feely term, it is a fact of science. I see more leaders make mistakes in this area than really any other. 

The Evolved Economy doesn't need your money or a lot of your time ,but it does require your attention and your energy. There does come a time when it requires less but that time is a lot further down the road than most expect. So the mistake commonly made is for leaders to let their foot off the gas too soon. They begin to only manage other folks' businesses and not their own. They expect everyone else to be an enroller except themselves. They leave behind the simple building blocks that brought them there and they move on to loftier matters.

WRONG!

Momentum is the result of the mass of your team multiplied by the velocity of it's growth. I know you think you can measure the mass of your team but are you measuring accurately?

The mass of your team is not how many folks have their name attached to your organization. 

"The mass of your team is the accumulation of people who are adopting and implementing the values you have set out for your business." 

They are offering the sale level of customer service. Their image of the future is starkly similar to your own. They are owning their business is the same way you were one or two years ago. They are a number of burgeoning leaders blossoming in your downline. This is the true mass of your team.

If you don't have these yet, your mass is just you. Therefore your team momentum is solely tied to your activity and nothing else. This is not the time to reduce the amount of energy your business receives, it is time to "Put the Hammer Down."

Hammer Down Activities:

Enrolling- start leading your team again as a key enroller

Duplication- start or continue to duplicate necessary business activities in other folks business centers.

Mentoring-take aside those who aspire to lead and 

1. show them how, 

2. implement it with them 

3. and hold them to a high standard.

Do you have momentum in your business? Good, don't lose it. No, well let's get some by taking action!

Have you ever felt like you are right in the middle of the sweet spot? Have you ever felt yourself so immersed in utilizing your God-given gift that you begin to realize that in that very moment you are actually embracing the Divine? I experience this from time to time and none so often as when I am practicing the calling of "High Level Mentoring."

Just last night I was enjoying a quick visit with a wonderful couple I have been coaching for more than a decade. I looked at the clock and realized that I needed to make the short drive home to my farm to have a phone call with another dear friend who I just happen to also be in a mentorsing relationship with as well.

As I was leaving I told this couple how much fun I am anticipating having on this call. I am blessed to have known some real geniuses in my decades of mentoring. The genius comes in a different package and leads various types of lives, but genius none the less. Well this man is a special one and I shared how much fun it is to watch his mindset shift and the his real genius begin to take center stage.

Those of you who know me personally know just how much I love it when I call it right on the money. The day before I had been laughing with another great couple over the fact that I had predicted the meteroric rise in their revenue and when I had done so they had chuckled at me. But today they are chuckling for an entirely different reason. It's not magic, there is no trick, there is no pixie dust. This couple had been tirelessly co-creating, tirelessly pouring greatness into their leaders who are just now finding their footing in the Evolved Economy. And like scent of rain in the air that my lovely wife can so succeinctly detect, I have a nose for the fullness of time in a leader's life and mission.

I was right about the call. My friend shared interaction after interaction that demonstrated to me just how definitively he was exercising his Divine giftedness. He was sharing conversation after conversation that exposed his greatness in touching lives with a surety and confidence that inspired others to act similarly. And then he shared the moment I love. The moment when the spiritually minded begin to realize that living into your greatness and using your giftedness in service is well, holy.

The Scriptures tell us that everything we do has the possibility of experiencing the Divine. It happens when the finely created instrument realizes that he is not the result of randoms actions but instead the intense focus of a Master Craftsman. And when we are utilizing our greatness without embarrassment or false humility we a in an act of worship, and if we quiet our hearts enough, we can hear heaven signing harmony to our melody.

You see our worship is a type of the Evolved Economy as well. It requires mo spire or stained glass windows. It needs no invocational prayer or anthem hymn. It only requires us being aware what the wonderful gift we have been awarded in stewardship to the Divine allows us to experience our Eternal Significance.

And as my friend shared his "cathedral experience" of realzing the significance of what he was witnessing in his own life, I had mine. Knowing that this fragile and faulty road quide had successfully given the right directions to assist another pilgim in finding his way home . I was in worship, I was feeling like something sacred was being shared and I had been given the privilege of being a witness to it all.

I don't what life you're living, but I know. And I am in gratitude to be a worship leader in the Evolved Economy!

Yes, It's True, "You Can't Push a Rope."

So many of us struggle with having our emotions leading the way in our life and our business.  It is debilitating. It takes us out of out power and strengths and can halt all the momentum from our team.  It doesn't have to be that way.  We can manage our emotions but we have to know how.

We can't manage or shift our emotions by just forcing a different emotion on our self. Our emotions are best shifted by taking action. A friend of mine just this past week had a challenging conversation that previously would have put her in a slump. But instead she took action. She called up a old friend who had said she was interested in being in the Evolved Economy. She made the lunch date and was excited and encouraged. Her actions shifted her emotions. Actions can shift our emotions but emotions can't shift emotions. 

Some of us try to even shift our actions with our emotions. This is like trying to push a rope.

Actions are connected to our emotions but with a rope. Actions can pull our emotions along but EMOTIONS CANNOT PUSH OUR ACTIONS! You can't push a rope! 

So if you don't like how you feel, take a action that will transform you feelings.

PUT YOUR HEAD DOWN AND GO BACK TO WORK!

After coaching successful leaders in the Evolved Economy this many years there are some choice words of wisdom that I feel sometimes like I just need it on a recorded loop. That's because too many times the needed advice is simple, but essential.

You see when the sun comes up the farmer milks the cows. When the sun goes down, yes, you guessed it, you milk the cows. There is no substitution for consistency and deliberate, hard, and focused work. Moods, inconsistent leaders, revenue swings, all these things tempt the Evolved Economy leader to give up hope. With hope lost so will leave the needed investment of empowered actions to produce your passive revenue stream.

REVENUE STREAMS  comes from EMPOWERED ACTIONS comes from SHIFTED MINDSET

If your head is in the right place, then, 

"PUT YOUR HEAD DOWN AND GET BACK TO WORK!"

In the next 12 hour the sun will either be coming up or going down or both, will you be doing what you should be doing to advance your own Evolved Economy? Yep, it's time to milk the cows!

Are you resonating with who you really are?

A number of times this weeks the concept of resonance keeps coming up. People are exploring their strengths and are finding that certain actions and postures feel in harmony with their own personality and calling and others cause them to feel out of tune with themselves. Unfortunately the traditional economy has a way of dulling every image down to beige. Bold and vibrant colors are discouraged as they make some individuals stand out in the crowd. So everyone who wants to get along learns to dumb it down to the lowest common denominator.

But in the Evolved Economy beige simply doesn't pay. The Evolved Economy requires that you perform solely based on your strengths, no matter how unique these may appear at first sight. You don't struggle with working on your weaknesses, after years of effort you will succeed at accomplishing mediocre. No, the Evolved Economy requires that you expose each other's strengths and work in empowered teams to accomplish multitudes more you could ever do alone.

So you need to know what resonates with you.
You need to embrace your true greatness.
You need to edit out all the unreliable advice you have received that was attempting to make you conform, fit in and join the masses.
You were not created to be a lemming.
You were not designed to be indistinguishable from each other.
You were placed here to be exceptional, extraordinary and distinct.

So come join us in returning to our own gifted-ness.
Learn the power of using your strengths with inexhaustible ease.
Find the inner song that is held in tune by careful attention to your own individual tuning fork.

Life is a majestic choir raising their voices in harmony and in doing so finding our own message,  our own voice and our own true self. 
Welcome to the Evolved Economy!

 No this isn't my age, it is a goal. I am 48 today and I choose to aim for a 95th Birthmonth. I intend to take my children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc, and all my friends who have been transforming the Third World with me over the 55 years I will have been serving by then. I want to blow out a candle and eat chocolate cake in every village.  I hope it takes more than a month.
You see in the Evolved Economy we don't spend much time reminiscing about what we have done because we are too invested in what we are doing. This means lifting up your eyes to look beyond today's struggle to see tomorrow's victories. It means seeing possibilities through a Divine perspective.  It means welcoming in others to offer their greatness to ours and together accomplish so much more.
I am the CEO of my own life in the Evolved Economy and I am making choices today that will allow my tomorrow's to produce the fulfillment of our dreams.

Two Measured Ingredients for 

a Truly Evolved Economy

The concept of an Evolved Economy is a relatively new one. Most people are never fully introduced to a real one. Ignorance, gullibility or poor explanations often get in the way of a leader getting an accurate definition or description of the Evolved Economy. Let me help with two essential ingredients. Time and Money.

Time is more precious than money for most leaders today. An Evolved Economy attempt is most often something added to an already strained time frame. So if the opportunity that you are being offered feels more like a second job than an informed decision, well, it probably isn't an Evolved Economy. 

In the Evolved Economy you can build in the nooks and crannies of your life. You will sacrifice your attention to prime time TV but that's what TVO is for. You will invest a weekend day each month but you have some to spare as you re-align your priorities. But you should still date your spouse and attend your children's sporting events. The Evolved Economy is designed to mold to your strengths it will make the move with you.

In the Evolved Economy you also should have a very small outlay of money. A large financial risk is not congruent with the Evolved Economy model. If someone is expecting you to raid the education fund to get the placement of a lifetime, run away and lose their phone number. 

Be choosy which Evolved Economy gets your attention, your wisdom, your experience and your greatness. But choose one. Revenue streams need to be introduced into your financial blueprint for your life and the financial legacy for your family. But choose one that sets appropriate boundaries on your time and your money, because if it doesn't, it's a traditional economy in sheep's clothing. 

To those who scorn imagination and believe that us dreamers are lost in our own thoughts more than in reality, listen carefully to one of the greatest minds of our time, Albert Einstein.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."

If I can assist a leader in this one area we are 98% done. If you can begin to see life as an adventure that you will enjoy and not dread, as a challenge you will conquer rather than be crushed by, as the fun of defining your future by your intentions and imagination rather than your present circumstances, you will succeed! 

If you refuse to engage and embrace this powerful Divine gift then cloudy days are a source of depression rather than a blessing of rain to nourish the land. Then relationship challenges are personal attacks rather than teaching moments for everyone involved. Then financial problems are curses rather than helpful symptoms of unbalanced living that can be repaired and re-invented.

Take a moment to re-write this week. 
Let this week be one of enormous influence and powerful assistance. 
Let this month shift your whole team into momentum of extravagant proportions. 
Let his quarter be remembered as the season when you developed a business co-creative partnership that changed your financial legacy. 
Let this year begin decades of financial freedom matched with outstanding global investment.

Imagination it is the power train of The Evolved Economy.

It is such a privilege to get know the amazing people who are building within The Evolved Economy.  They are exceptional people with amazing skill sets. But as they begin to appreciate the possibilities of their new opportunity they struggle with dissatisfaction with their traditional careers and business opportunities. This creates a problem. This leads to a number of "wall kicking moments" that inevitably leads to a sense of self loathing and harsh self analysis. All of these activities lead to a drain on your self confidence and in The Evolved Economy that is one of your major selling points. So what should you do?

Appreciate that your greatness will get you paid in numerous ways and just because you found a preferred reimbursement method does not mean you have wasted your skills, no you have been honing them for such a  day as this when you can receive the revenue your investment deserves.

Allow for your traditional business income to support your lifestyle demands as your revenue building activities develop in The Evolved Economy. This is not a lottery, building your business takes time. Building out of a sense of desperation will only delay you stability not accelerate it.

Realize that Leaders Choose. You are not trapped in your job or career. It is not a punishment or detainment  to keep providing for your family with a traditional income. It is a tool. It has served you in the past and when it`s usefulness runs its course you will put it back in your tool box. You won`t throw it away in disgust.

In The Evolved Economy the product is YOU! Anything that diminishes your own sense of self importance or uniqueness will become a ``mojo vampire`` Don`t allow anything to distract you from appreciating you, including any sense of impatience you may have with your  progress in The Evolved Economy. 

You are a Rock Star, make sure everyone, including yourself, treats you that way everyday!

This Ain't Rocket Science, 

It's The Evolved Economy!

True story, I was at a new church being started in a movie theater in Pennsylvania a few years ago. Because it had temporary facilities they were required to set up and tear down and transport everything they used each week. I have done this and it is no fun. I was a visitor so I was just standing around watching this finely tuned machine of a work team effortlessly put everything in its place. As I watched the sound system being assembled I was confounded at the complexity of the process. I then utilized a common assessment of brilliance and said, "Man you gotta be a rocket science to put this thing together every week!" The man who is on his knees working diligently pauses for a just a moment and replies, "Good thing I am one."  Yes he was in the aeronautical industry and in fact he designed rockets! What are the chances?

We have brilliance before each day and most of it goes unnoticed. Any child who has enjoyed a teeter totter has employed the mystery that is the lever. You also have employed the magic of science numerous times this week unknowingly.  The process of accomplishing more with less exerted energy is all around us. And some of you have even learned that this principle can be implemented into your business.

Most of the workforce remains trading time for money their entire lives. The hope of saving enough money for a "comfortable" retirement is the major motivation for living your life in such a manner. Unfortunately pensions aren't what they used to be and the days of seeing steady returns on money left in "savings" are gone. So the individual has to find another solution.  The answer is The Evolved Economy.

If you are willing to learn there is an industry willing to training you in how you can earn and provide in a more reliable fashion.

The Evolved Economy is that option of learning that you can shift the income to investment equation through your own initiative  not by just leaving it to the whims of the government or your employer. Become the CEO of not just your own business, of your entire life!

"Once upon a time..." If you listen to the gurus enough you would think that The Evolved Economy is built on mystical principles that only a select few "special" people have knowledge of and for a small "investment" they will share them with only you. 

Sorry folks there is no "pixie dust!" The Evolved Economy is about assisting other folks to take control of their own future and build an ethical business with an outstanding product as well as an exemplary compensation plan. 

By the way I only teach The Co-Creation Principles to traditional business who are willing to begin to re invent themselves, charities so they can make a tremendous difference in this world and Isagenix. I have not found another corporation within The Evolved Economy with such a tremendous compensation plan. Yes I see companies with "fast money solutions" but when you examine the how this money is being manufactured you will find out that the model is flawed. Someone else has less of an opportunity because you are getting more of an opportunity. That kind of thing just isn't ok with me.

So represent The Evolved Economy with pride. There are ethical businesses functioning within The Evolved Economy, Isagenix is my best example. Don't be fooled by the snake oil salesmen. There are simple principles that can guide you in your build within The Evolved Economy. Anyone can master them and you can do so more quickly if you build within a team based system as in The Co-Creation Model. 

Co-Creation Masters are not life time MLMers, they are folks who have courageously left the traditional model and are at first taking baby steps in The Evolved Economy. They live by a new set of principles for success but with a well worn sense of personal ethics. If you are interested, you can do it. Save the "pixie dust" for the gullible, this is for everyone! 

It has been called a lot of things by many different trainers, your dysfunctional inner voice, your drunken monkey, your negative self talk re generator. It doesn't matter what you call it we all have one.
Our personal experiences, circle on influential friends and our family of origin all have a way of programming the messages but we all have messages that do not serve us. 
The trick is two fold:


1. Don't argue with your inner voice. If you have an above average intelligence your subconscious voice is better at forming a convincing argument than your conscious voice. Having a battle of the wits with your inner voice is like taking a knife to a gun fight, foolish. Also these battles can last for days or weeks or more. While you are battling your are out of momentum and ostracizing yourself from your team. Stop arguing and get back into action. Take inspired action whether your drunken monkey is screaming or not.

2. The presence of a self sabotaging, self deprecating or idiotic self talking inner voice is not proof that you cannot succeed in The Evolved Economy. You are not flawed. You are normal. I coach people at every level of personal success and they all have one thing in common, self talk that does not serve them. More cash does not silent the monkey, in fact it gives him a mega phone! 
You are gifted and talent, inspired and exquisite and the person who is trying to convince you otherwise is either in competition with you or has their hand in your pocket. 
Surround yourself with people who recognize your greatness and are willing to remind you when you forget.

The Mentoring Dance

This visual teaching moment is so pivotal to your learning to develop leaders within your Evolved Economy.

If you aren't actively mentoring then your Evolved Economy is really just an elaborate sales position. But if in fact you are raising up leaders as well as attracting great leaders then you are experiencing the true magic of The Evolved Economy.

The tricky thing about mentoring work is that there is very little applause. Usually only a few people will know immediately that you have been privately bringing out the best in your leaders. If you are extremely skilled no one ever knows but the individual you are pouring greatness into. The Evolved Economy runs on some what counter intuitive principles and this means that the most influential leader within the traditional economy will require mentoring so that they do not waste resources applying antiquated methods on this hybrid economy. So plan to be a mentor.

I have been teaching mentoring principles for over 25 years now and one thing remains the same, very few people actually know how to mentor leaders. They think they are mentoring when followers are learning, but that is just leading. Mentoring is quite different. A leader responds to a different language and energy than anyone else in your team. You must adjust to them, not the other way around. Most organizations are nothing but frustrating to leaders. Leaders are very predictable as they have a code of principles that they live their life by and decisions come easily. They are not emotionally driven but principle focused. This can aggravate the untrained mentor.

The video I share here is about the concluding days of a mentoring relationship. It is a painful and careful dance as the mentor earns to decrease and allow the mentee to increase. But it is a dance that is all too necessary in order for your Evolved Economy is mature. I have shared the anguish and joy of mentors stepping back so that their mentees can shine.

I hope this will inspire you to become just what your team needs you to be, a mentor. Begin to share those four powerful words with those who are aspiring to lead, "I Can See You..."

Do you love what you do? When will you begin? I guess I am too self focused, I couldn't imagine not doing that which I am immensely proud of, happy to do with ease, and pleased with myself for having done it.

The Evolved Economy Leader never uses guilt and driving to motivate anyone, including themselves. They know that the reliable and trustworthy model is one of describing and predicting greatness and drawing ourselves and others into an amazing synergy of passion and productivity.

We are taught from an early age to be immediately responsive to guilt, but if you have to make yourself or other people feel bad before you are they can feel empowered to do great things, it's going to be a very unfulfilling journey.

As a pastor of a brand new congregation we were forming I told our key leaders that I personally was not going to use guilt as a motivator. Before he could think of what he was saying one leader blurted out, "But we won't be able to get anyone to do what we want them to do!" My response was that then we would be a very guilt free but unproductive congregation. It was true we were guilt free but unproductive, no we got a lot done and those congregants are still doing amazing acts of service and leadership in their community and around the world.

This trusting step is a big one for many of you who have been let down and disappointed in the past. I know how you are feeling, and that is why I love the Evolved Economy. 

In a truly evolved model everyone is an independent business owner. Words like "Upline, Downline, Crossline" are all mythical descriptions of how we are reimbursed but not actual ties that bind. The freedom of The Evolved Economy is to take full responsibility for where our business is and how it is performing moment by moment. In The Evolved Economy we know we can improve our position and our revenue without anyone else's permission or input.

Happy people are those who have embraced that they are in control of their own destiny. Happy People Do Life Differently

So start investing in an economy that values you, all of you, 360 degrees of you. With The Evolved Economy your personal sense of value and "purposefilledness" is where the reimbursement gets ridiculous. I am embracing ridiculous, are you?
